Just a few days to go before our departure on our next adventure. We have unwrapped the caravan and are in the throes of loading the items we need to take with us on our trip to the southern states. The truck has been serviced and is ready to travel.
We’ve visited friends and caught up with the kids. Drinks with the neighbors this afternoon and then serious last minute packing and loading for an early departure on Sunday morning.
The house sitter “Gecko” has moved in and is under strict instructions to look after the place in our absence and not to have too many parties with his mates. The neighbors will keep an eye out and let us know if there is any drama.
Our first day will see us travel to Goondiwindi for an overnight stop; a distance of about450 kilometres and about 8 hours travel for us. Next day we will be heading to Dubbo in New South Wales and then on to Albury/Wodonga on our journey to Melbourne to catch the Spirit of Tasmania which will take us, the truck and the caravan to Tasmania.
